53rd UAE National Day: The Nation Celebrates Eid Al-Etihad With Enthusiasm
With patriotic celebrations, festivals and great pride, the United Arab Emirates marks the 53rd Independence Day. Today, the nation commemorates its national day ‘Eid Al Etihad’ with enthusiasm, celebrating its unity, progress and remarkable success.
Public buildings, popular centers, public squares and streets are adorned with the national flag and various other decorations in connection with the celebrations of Eid Al Etihad. People are celebrating their national day with zeal across the country. In all seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates, specific venues have been nominated for various activities to mark the union day.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, president of the United Arab Emirates, expresses his feelings and shares his recognition of the efforts of people in a handwritten note, “On the occasion of Eid Al Etihad, we take pride in the UAE and its people, both citizens and residents.”
