Athlon by Aldar Properties Achieves Record-Breaking AED 4.1 Billion Sales in Just 48 Hours

Aldar Properties has sold out the first two phases of “Athlon”- a unique active living development. This landmark was achieved in just 48 hours. It took Aldar Properties two days to sell the first two phases of its Athlon project, generating (AED 4.1 Billion ) ($1.12 Billion). 

This project is a joint venture between Aldar Properties and Dubai Holding. Both real estate development companies joined hands a second time to develop futuristic developments.

More than 1,000 villas and townhouses have been sold out in Athlon by Aldar Properties. 81% of buyers are expatriate residents and foreign investors. This percentage depicts the interest of foreign investors in Dubai’s property sector and Dubai’s standing as a global destination for real estate investment and relocation. Indian, Chinese and Jordanian buyers ranked at the top in this development.

21% of buyers were females while 79% of buyers were males, indicating the interest and role of women in the property sector. 65% of buyers were under the age of 45, depicting the attraction of the Athlon project of Aldar Properties. 82% of them were first-time buyers of Aldar, highlighting the customer base of this property development company and its strong strategies to develop new clientage.
