US President Donald Trump has officially confirmed his first international visit after claiming the White House. The second term’s foreign engagement of the US President will begin with the UAE, Qatar and Saudi visits. The visit is aimed at reinforcing diplomatic and economic partnerships between the US and Gulf nations and it is scheduled for as early as May. With a focus on trade, regional stability and security collaboration, this visit of Donald Trump is expected to strengthen diplomatic ties.

Reporters were informed, “It could be next month, maybe a little bit later.” Trump further said, “We’re going to Qatar, also, and also we’re going to possibly a couple of other countries. UAE is very important … so we’ll probably stop at UAE and Qatar.”

Discussing the trip, Trump states, “I view it as jobs more than anything else, and now we’re close to a trillion dollars,” Trump said. “So it’s more than double the number that we did when I first came to office.”
