Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) which is a part of Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) has recently announced Dubai’s 2025 retail calendar. This guideline was made public on 18th December to make people aware of the incredible line-up of citywide events and activities. It is an endeavor to engage local people and expats to let them make their plans based on the events that excite them the most.
The step also signs with the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33 as it will further improve the global standing of the city. It will not only improve the business outlook of the city but also enhance the city’s allure and captivation.
Major Events And Festivals
The Iconic Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF): It is one of the most iconic events mentioned in the 2025 retail calendar. Also known as the world’s longest-running retail festival.DSF offers a range of shopping options including electronics and fashion-related products. Furthermore, cultural and live music performances and fireworks displays also boost its captivation, attracting visitors from all over the world.
Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS):
During the summer months, this event is usually held to offer shopping facilities and ultimate fun. Deemed a perfect getaway for families, allowing people to have access to unlimited shopping facilities and fun activities.
Dubai Esports and Games Festival (DEF):
It will begin from 25th April to 11th May 2025. From family fun events to industry sights to gaming events such as GameExpo, GameExpo Summit, Dubai Cosplay Championship, and Play Beyond are arranged.
Ramadan In Dubai:
During the holy month of Ramadan, the city also comes with special events to accommodate people.
Eid In Dubai:

He further added, “By enabling Dubai to make the most of the anticipated increase in visitor footfall over the coming year, this approach not only supports the growth of local businesses through essential partnerships with our key stakeholders but also reinforces Dubai’s appeal as a premier shopping, tourism and entertainment destination, contributing to advancing the goals of the D33 Agenda.”
